Modify Your PIN

WDM Library Online Catalog – Encore – Modify PIN

If you do not have an existing PIN, you will want to call (515-222-3400), email library@wdm.iowa.gov or come in to the WDM Library to have that set up initially.

You can also Request a PIN via our online catalog:  see this video tutorial!

After that, you can Modify your PIN at any time using our online My Account webpage.

First, go to our Encore Online Catalog.  encore login filled

A new window will open to our Encore interface. Click on Login in the top right corner.  You will need to enter your Library Account number (under the barcode on your library card) and your current PIN. >>

Once you’ve logged in, it will say “My Book Cart” and your name (instead of “Reference Desk” it will show your name). Click on your Name.

On the next screen, from the menu on the left, choose Edit  PIN. >>  encore my account modify pin_75

A new popup box will appear, where you can enter first your current (old) PIN, and then the number (4-digits or more) you want for your new PIN.

Click on Submit. Done!
