As students “Return to Learn,” caregivers are finding themselves in a new position as helper and instructor. Whether you are new homeschoolers or will be using your local school’s online program, we are here to support you and your family.

Ask Us!

Our Reference staff can help you find answers to questions and share research tips. Call us or visit the library during our hours (add link to hours) or email us anytime at

We can also offer you or your students a tour of the great resources we have available, including our biography, nonfiction, and documentary collections.

Get Digital

Ebooks and eAudiobooks are a great way to explore new worlds. Using a library card, your student can access these titles straight from their laptop! Your student could check out a nonfiction title to their device to deepen their research on salamanders, or you could get an audiobook to listen to on a car trip. Free to call us if you have any questions about how to get started.

Pick Up Items

If you’d rather not visit the library in person, we can deliver items to your vehicle curbside. Start by putting items on hold to your account in the library catalog. When you arrive at the library, call 515-222-3404 and we will bring the items out for you.

Homework Help

We have great resources available to you at home, with your library card. Our HelpNow tutoring service is available in English and Spanish. Students can work live with a tutor or submit their writing for feedback.
