Friends Book Sale
We do not have an annual sale, but instead we have an ongoing sale of materials. Proceeds go to the WDM Library Friends Foundation and help the Library buy new materials.
The sale shelves are on the 1st floor, in the atrium toward the back. Any staff member can direct you.
We generally have books, paperbacks and magazines. Materials are put out as they are ready, so it pays to check back often.
Items can be paid for at the First Floor Service Desk. Prices per item are as follows (as of 3/15/24):
- $2.00 for all hardcover books
- 50 cents for all paperback books
- 50 cents for magazines
- All other items as marked

When you shop our Book Sale, you support our library.
Where do Book Sale books come from?
The books in our Book Sale are either books taken from our collection that are no longer circulating (for example, if we bought 7 copies of a new popular title, but now only 3 are needed in the library) or they are donations that we’ve received in great condition.
How can I donate my gently-used books?
We accept donations at the front Accounts and Checkout desk. Please only bring two (2) standard paper or plastic grocery bags OR two (2) paper boxes per day.
