The Adventure Pass Program
Iowa Libraries provide free passes to area attractions for a day of family fun! Passes generally allow entrance for two (2) adults and two (2) children. Exceptions: DSM Children's Museum is four (4) children - adult admission is free with children. Reiman Gardens is two (2) adults and four (4) children. Additional tickets can be purchased at the venues.
WDM and Cumming residents, 18 years of age and older, with a valid WDM library card that is non-expired and in good standing may reserve passes by using TixKeeper - click on Reserve Your Adventure Pass below.
December, 2023: Brenton Skating Plaza passes can be booked now for dates starting after January 1, 2024. Adventure Passes will not be accepted at the plaza until Jan 1, though the venue will open in late December.
Cardholder must present a valid photo ID and printed pass (email on phone not accepted) before admission into the venue is allowed.
One pass per venue may be reserved once every 365 days.
Passes cannot be used for any special member events (e.g. Zoo Brew or Night Eyes)
Please cancel your reservation if you cannot use the pass at the reserved time. To cancel a reservation, call the Reference Desk at 515-222-3403.
Check open dates of any venue before you reserve your pass.
Iowa Arboretum & Gardens - as of 10/5/23, we have been informed the Arboretum is no longer participating in Adventure Passes.
