Program Description

Event Details

Step into nature and creativity with Kate and Amy for Crafting 101: Cyanotype prints, a program that blends outdoor exploration with the art of cyanotype printmaking. Participants will begin with a peaceful nature hike to collect leaves and flowers.

After the walk, we’ll gather to arrange our findings onto light-sensitive cyanotype fabric, creating one-of-a-kind botanical prints using only sunlight and water. As the prints expose under the sun, participants will be invited to slow down, reflect, and embrace the meditative stillness that comes with waiting—an integral part of the cyanotype process that encourages mindfulness and presence.

Perfect for all experience levels, this workshop offers a creative and calming way to connect with nature, art, and yourself.

Please dress in comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

If the weather isn't amenable, we will reschedule to another day.
