Iowa Blues Challenge Winners: The Weary Ramblers

On this Valentine's Day, what better way to celebrate the love of good music than to come hear the Weary Ramblers? The Library is happy to welcome Kathryn Severing-Fox and Chad Elliott, the Winners of the 2025 Iowa Blues Challenge in the solo/duo category! 

This renowned duo has racked up awards, most notably a Josie Award for Song of The Year - Americana "Pretty Lights Of Denver," which was presented at The Grand Ole Opry. Other awards include Winners of 21st annual International Acoustic Music Awards in “Best Group/Duo” category, Semi-finalists in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition, Semi-finalists in the 2025 Unsigned Only Music Awards, Nominees for 2025 Josie Music Awards for “Duo of the Year - Americana,” “Song of the Year - Americana Duo/Group/Collab” & “Music Video of the Year (Performance Focused/Duo-Group)”!
