Due to staffing changes, Notary service will not be available at the Library for the month of May, 2024.

West Des Moines City Hall offers free Notary services – please contact them ahead of time to arrange an appointment.

Artist Statement: 

Little Hidden Stories

We all have been children once. Throughout life we carry them in our memories, stories, and in our creations.

Most of my illustrations are for adults, but once in a while that little wild child shows up and makes me draw about her.

These illustrations are usually for me; hidden inside my tablet. I go back to check on them, look at them, and enjoy.

One day they suddenly questioned me: "Why don't you show us to anyone?"

"Well" I said, you're my little ones, my hidden ones. You're just for me."

"No fair," they replied, "we would love to be seen too" they demanded.

So, here, I'm sharing them with you. Now you can enjoy them too and you can even take them home with you if you wish.
