Please join us on Monday, August 9th at 6:00 pm for The Roots of Rock & Roll, presented by for music historian and teaching artist Joey Leone. Joey will take us through the early years of rock and roll, focusing on the life, influence and music of pioneers like Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Bo Diddley and others. Come experience the advent of and evolution of rock and roll through songs, stories and histories events and learn how this music gained not only widespread appeal, but influenced American music and popular culture for decades to come.
