Author Zoom Event - Debra Landwehr Engle

Join us for a virtual author event with bestselling writer Debra Landwehr Engle. Engle is the author of four nonfiction books and her first novel, Twenty.

Her work has been endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond  Tutu and other notable authors and leaders. Two of her books have received Nautilus Awards, which honor “better books for a better world.”

A former Creative Manager for The Des Moines Register and editor for Better Homes and Gardens books, Debra has had a long career in publishing and marketing, including  project management for corporate publications.  

She now serves as the co-director of the Story Summit Writer’s School, an online program that encourages emerging voices, and she offers private coaching in  writing/publishing and life skills. A native of Des Moines, she serves on the foundation for the Iowa Center for the Book.
