This in-person group is open to aspiring authors of all experience levels. Each participant brings an approximately 1500-word excerpt of their work-in-progress to read aloud.

Spend some time with the Naturalist at Raccoon River Park's Coneflower Shelter! We'll enjoy nature stories and a kid-friendly craft or activity. Bring a blanket and dress for the weather.

Join us for a hauntingly creative evening as we celebrate Edgar Allan Poe’s iconic poem “The Raven.” Library staff will perform a dramatic reading of the poem, setting the tone for a night of mystery, melancholy, and artistic inspiration.
