2022 Staff Picks - Nonfiction

Our library has a great selection of nonfiction! We asked staffers to share some of their outstanding reads from this year with you. Check out our nonfiction favorites, and next time you're in the building, stop by to see these books on display on the second floor.

Several staffers recommended Crying in H Mart, Michelle Zauner (of Japanese Breakfast)'s memoir.

Jacob enjoyed reading about the evolution of poker, chess and more in Seven Games: A Human History by Oliver Roeder, while Megan delved into statistics with Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Perez.

Kate enjoyed Ben Aitken's memoir The Marmalade Diaries, about the unlikely friendship he developed while serving as caterer for a cantankerous older woman during quarantine.

Find all these great titles on your next visit, or check out the large selection of nonfiction available in eBook and eAudio through Libby.
