The WDM Public Library is thrilled to now offer ABCmouse.com, an online early learning resource, to our patrons. The award-winning ABCmouse curriculum is designed to help young children (ages 2-8+) build a strong foundation for future academic success. ABCmouse is 100% educational, with more than 10,000 learning activities (books, puzzles, educational games, art activities, songs, etc.) across all major subject areas—reading, math, science, social studies, art, and music. Over 1,000 of these learning activities are in Spanish.
ABCmouse has been proven to significantly increases children's English language and digital literacy skills, significantly improve student outcomes in Pre-K and Kindergarten, accelerate Kindergarteners’ academic growth and much more!
Patrons can access this tool in the library and remotely from home—all you need is your library card number!
When ABCmouse is accessed from a library remotely with ABCmouse Home Access for Libraries, it can be shared by up to three children in a household, each with their own avatar, profile, and progress-tracking on the ABCmouse Step-by-Step Learning Path.
Your ABCmouse account must be created on a desktop computer, after which it can be accessed from a mobile device. Download the ABCmouse app here, but remember to create your account on a desktop computer first!
