Teen Center

As part of our ongoing renovation project, the West Des Moines Library will be creating a brand-new Teen Center on the first floor of the library. We can’t wait to welcome you to our space in Spring 2021. Watch this page for updates as the project progresses. Until then, you can find all materials for teens on the second floor.

Update 12/21/20:

At this point, the flooring has been removed, the interior divider walls have been removed, and the three new study rooms have been framed. The header for the removable wall partition between the Teen Center and the Library Living Room has been installed, and there is shape to the space where the teen service desk will be placed. Soon drywall will start and we'll have an even better sense of the shape of the space!
