This month, we invite you to step onto the back of Great A’Tuin and journey through the satirical, magical, and endlessly inventive world of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld. Both fans and curious newcomers alike are welcome to learn about and explore the humor, heart, and brilliance of one of fantasy’s most beloved authors.

In this program, we’ll dive into the origins and evolution of the Discworld series, discuss Pratchett’s unique blend of satire, social commentary, and fantasy tropes and have plenty of time to share favorite quotes, books, and adaptations (and maybe a few laughs along the way).

Whether you’ve read all 41 books or are just curious about the hype, this program offers a fun and thoughtful look at a literary universe where magic meets meaning—and nothing is quite what it seems.
