School has started. It’s (hopefully) cooler outside. Let’s take some time to explore the library’s resources. Did you know that we have Learning Kits that area available for checkout?

On September 29, 1864, two brigades of United States Colored Troops charged Confederate earthworks outside Richmond, Virginia, driving the Confederates from their lines, leaving hundreds of their own dead and wounded on the field.

Come to the library for a spooky fun craft! We'll be making easy lanterns that will cast an eerie glow for Halloween (or any occasion). For ages 5-12, registration required.

This in-person group is open to aspiring authors of all experience levels. Each participant brings an approximately 1500-word excerpt of their work-in-progress to read aloud.

Are you looking for a few Silver Cord, Community Service, or other volunteer hours? The Library is looking for volunteers to help with a monthly group service project. We will perform a variety of tasks.

Join us in the Teen Center to collage and chat! Collaging materials will be provided. Program intended for grades 6-12. No registration required.

Join us in the Teen Center to build mini-sculptures and other creations... out of Play-Doh! Experiment with color, shape, and textures and create your own unique mini-structure!

Are you participating in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) this year? Join us for a write-in with fellow writers! We'll have snacks, provide writing prompts, and provide great writing vibes.
