Notary Service Suspended for May

Due to staffing changes, Notary service will not be available at the Library for the month of May, 2024.

West Des Moines City Hall offers free Notary services – please contact them ahead of time to arrange an appointment.

You can also search for Notaries in your area through the State’s Notary Search tool.

DART and the West Des Moines Library bring to life the popular, award-winning children’s book, Last Stop on Market Street. Thanks to its sponsorship of the READ to SUCCEED Program through United Way of Central Iowa, DART is now sharing further through our library’s story time. After reading the book and discussing how public transit connects people to places, opportunities, and each other – the group will tour the inside of a DART bus! For ages 0-6, no registration required.
