Spend some time with the Naturalist at Raccoon River Park's Biddle Shelter! We'll enjoy nature stories and a kid-friendly craft of activity. Bring a blanket and dress for the weather.

We will be at the Valley Junction Farmers Market on Thursday, May 29 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Stop by our booth to check out a book, get a temporary tattoo, and get your library card! 

Visit the library at Legion Park! We'll have the WoW Truck there to sign up for library cards and check out library materials.

Join Nate for a fun family activity! We'll meet out in front of the library, and WDM police officer Chelsea Dexter will join us to talk about bicycle safety and show off their custom police bike. Bring (or ride) your bike to the program!

Help us kick off the summer reading fun by attending our "Unlazy River" program! Bring your own pool floatie or noodle and we'll "float" around the pond - on the sidewalk - completing obstacles along the way.

Visit the library's Words on Wheels Truck at Mayor Tom Becker Park in Cumming! Create a new library card while you're there and check out some fun library materials.

The library and the Words on Wheels truck will be at the City of West Des Moines' Raccoon River Palooza from 8:00 AM - 8:00  PM on Saturday, June 7. 

Drop in and join us in the storyroom for Saturday Storytime! Build a lifetime love of books and reading as we share stories, songs, and interactive rhymes with an early literacy focus. For ages 0-6 w/adult. No registration.
