Join us for a hauntingly creative evening as we celebrate Edgar Allan Poe’s iconic poem “The Raven” along with a few other selections from his body of work. Library staff will do dramatic readings of selections, culminating with the poem, setting the tone for a night of mystery, melancholy, and artistic inspiration. As you listen to the rhythmic verses and gothic imagery, you’ll craft your own raven-themed necklace or bracelet using provided materials. This adult-only program is perfect for poetry lovers, crafters, and fans of the macabre. All materials will be supplied, and no crafting experience is necessary. Let the words of Poe inspire your creativity—nevermore will you look at poetry or jewelry the same way!
