Ladybug Love!

The ladybug is often seen as the "fairy godmother for plants." Unfortunately, popular agricultural practices have contributed to the rapid decline in ladybug populations. This program is an opportunity to learn what steps to take to protect this vital component of our ecosystem. By taking our pledge, and showing ladybugs and other beneficial insects some love, you can make an impact!

This program is presented by Amelia Pickhinke, BS, MA. Amelia comes from a teaching background, with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Drake University and six years of teaching experience. She then left the teaching field to study nutrition, earning a Master's Degree in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition.
