CANCELLED - - Prairie Walk

Did you know there is a diverse environment right in our own neighborhood? Join Kelly from the Iowa Prairie network for a prairie walk through the short paved loop in Southwoods Park here in West Des Moines. There, we’ll walk through native plantings while talking about native plant and animal diversity, invasive species concerns, and other prairie management techniques. Participants should meet in the parking lot of Southwoods Park which is across 35^th St. from the Learning Resource Center, or just a few minute walk from the library.
