Due to staffing changes, Notary service will not be available at the Library for the month of May, 2024.

West Des Moines City Hall offers free Notary services – please contact them ahead of time to arrange an appointment.

Please join us for the first of our "We Are West Des Moines" programs. In this program, Gale Brubaker will talk about the immigrant and refugee history of West Des Moines. She'll be highlighting a part of our community's heritage that may not be familiar to everyone, but which celebrates the diverse roots of West Des Moines.

Gale Brubaker is the Executive Director of the West Des Moines Historical Society. The West Des Moines Historical Society is a 501(c)3 volunteer-based organization dedicated to community enrichment through education, preservation, and celebration of the history and the heritage of the greater West Des Moines area and its environs.
