CANCELED: Outdoor storytime with COVID Recovery Iowa

UPDATE: Hello everyone! Unfortunately, COVID Recovery Iowa is not able to join us this morning for storytime. We do hope you still stop by the library, come pick out some new books and play with toys today! 

Join us for an outdoor storytime with the Ben Nystrom from COVID Recovery Iowa. This program will address emotions that may be felt today or tomorrow and also focus on the ups and downs of this past year. Stories presented will include Right Now I Am Fine by Daniela Owen, The Invisible String by Patrice Karst, and Tomorrow Most Likely by Dave Eggers and will engage children while helping them develop the communication skills necessary to express their thoughts, feelings, and needs. Bubbles and a drawing activity will also be part of this storytime! 

This program will be held outdoors. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair and meet us in the library's "backyard." For all ages, no registration required.
