Visit the library's Words on Wheels Truck at Mayor Tom Becker Park in Cumming! Create a new library card while you're there and check out some fun library materials.

This in-person group is open to aspiring authors of all experience levels. Each participant brings an approximately 1500-word excerpt of their work-in-progress to read aloud.

Drop in and join us in the storyroom for Saturday Storytime! Build a lifetime love of books and reading as we share stories, songs, and interactive rhymes with an early literacy focus. For ages 0-6 w/adult. No registration.

Please join us for a fun program for ages 8 and up with musician Bob Pace, where you can not only hear some great music, but learn how to play the harmonica and join in! Bob is a member of both the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame and the Iowa Rock ‘n

Teens! Spend time in the air conditioning with friends. We're bringing out the Nintendo Switch for free-play on Mondays during June and July. Enjoy a selection of games, and space to relax! No registration required.

West Des Moines Parks and Recreation is revamping their annual Fairytale Time in the Park program by collaborating with the Library!

The Library is excited to welcome back Joey Leone and his band for a program this evening!

Historical fiction is a great way to learn about people and events through stories that bring history to life. Our group discusses titles from a wide variety of time/places/people.
