Brave Adventurers Needed!

Have you heard of Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know how to play? Are you curious about playing but not sure where to begin? Thinking of running your own game but doubting yourself?

Do you embroider, cross-stitch, crochet, or knit? Come join us for Final Friday Fiber Club. Our first meeting or two you'll have the opportunity to do a simple embroidery project – we’ll provide the supplies and basic instructions.

This in-person group is open to aspiring authors of all experience levels. Each participant brings an approximately 1500-word excerpt of their work-in-progress to read aloud.

Center Street was a vibrant Black neighborhood of Des Moines from 1900-1970, boasting thriving businesses and entertainment options. But this neighborhood was destroyed when the decision was made to build I-235 through downtown.

Please join us in welcoming CultureAll for their engaging Open Book program! The program will begin with a warm-up game about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and then participated will learn from Open Book presenters about their experiences.
