Did you know that in 2024, the Iowa Homeless Youth Centers served 600 kids aged 16-24 at their center and during street outreach? And they housed 75 people last year and about 68% of those clients are still housed?

2025 marks the 160th anniversary of the end of the American Civil War. The State of Iowa erected the 135 ft. tall Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, funded partially by refunded war taxes, to commemorate Iowans who fought during the Civil War.
